These three authors were local writers in Hualien. The Second Chapter introduced the local humanities and sights to see how the sceneries and cultures have impacted on them. The Third Chapter elaborate on the three authors’ live, experiences, and works. The three authors were born in different ages, therefore they are immersed in distinct education and society. Yang is older than Chen and Chiou. The growing background also had influences on their works. Chapter Four listed the paragraphs regarding Hualien by these three authors and made comparisons on these paragraphs. Chapter Five summarized the aforementioned views and described the findings that all three authors wrote about the path of change while establishing the cultural identity and the sense of place of Hualien. |
